Palacio Astoreca - Valparaiso

This place is good, and provides everything I need, including great wi-fi, a friendly bar lounge area, and helpful luggage storage. Staff helped me with a local taxi number during my first stay. Highly recommend! I'm coming back for Christmas.

The venue was modern and absolutely gorgeous, I truly enjoyed the location near really great sights and the restuarant, and city views. Excellent and wonderful location in the plaza nearby made it easy to get to key attractions. I ate at the attached restaurant near the hotel.

We had a wonderful stay, with the staff going above and beyond by arranging our airport pickup and recommending a nearby restaurant that served amazing food. The outdoor terrace was a fantastic spot to unwind after a busy day, and I loved lounging by the swimming pool. The only minor hiccup was the WiFi being a bit spotty at times, but it didn't ruin our experience at all 😊

Tasty meal and good service. Location short walk to Cerro Alegre as well as Vina Del Mar and/ or Santiago. For shots visit be the juice bar, nestled within 5 minutes' walk of the hotel.

The setting is excellent and stunning, it's close enough to everything, from location, to service, attentiveness and comfort, downtown, and restaurants and coffee shops. Cerro Alegre district definitely deserves exploring.

Fine colonial architecture, beautiful public spaces, lovely terrace overlooking plaza

The lack of a full-length mirror and limited bathroom shelf space could use improvement!!! The restaurant closing for our stay was disappointing, and there should definitely be a bar or lounge area for drinks!!!

Palacio Astoreca boasts an very nice location with fine views over the harbor. The staff were helpful, providing great recommendations for local attractions and dining, and the breakfast was delicious and varied. Our room was spacious and elegantly decorated.

The staff was helpful, from organizing transportation to preparing a lovely packed breakfast for our early departure. The pool and wooden hot tub provided a unique and relaxing experience after a long day of exploring. The room could have been a bit cooler for a more comfortable sleep.

I had a fantastic time at this quirky old hotel! The breakfast was truly impressive with a great variety of fresh fruits and delicious options. Plus, the nice touch of free afternoon tea and coffee on the terrace really made our stay special. However, the lack of a shaving mirror was a bit annoying. I would definitely come back here again!

A Charming Retreat with Scenic Views

Enjoyed a cozy stay with fine bay views from our room. The staff, and breakfast was good-with fresh fruits and local delicacies. Pro tip, Ask for a room away from the street for peace! We'd gladly return for another stay.

The views from our Beautiful Suite with Sea View took my breath away every morning, overlooking the vibrant harbor and the striking Pacific Ocean. Each evening, we soaked in the atmosphere from our balcony while listening to local artists performing street opera. The staff were great, provided us with the best recommendations for dining and ensuring our late checkout was seamless.
